The United States foundation was the fruit of an offer which came from the Pastor of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Ozone Park, Queens, New York.
On September 8, 1924 Mother Stanislaus, Mother Madeleine, Mother Theresa and Sister Ignatius left Canada and arrived in Ozone Park to staff a Novitiate School.
The apostolate of the Ursulines prospered and more than 146 Sisters taught in Diocesan schools and had a flourishing Novitiate in Blue Point, Long Island, New York.
